I have always been a big fan of protecting the environment, but unfortunately, sometimes this concept is easier said than done. I realized a few months ago that I needed to focus on participating and supporting my community recycling program, so I contacted my city. I talked with them about the recycling program, when I could get the necessary cans, and how much I would be compensated for my efforts. They were incredibly kind about helping me to sort out all of my inquiries, and before I knew it, I was sorting my own recycled trash.
